Food & Leisure Guide wrote about this jam: “In search of exquisite tastes, one may have to reach the frontiers of the country in order to be handsomely rewarded. Local traditions combined with local, top-quality produce are the precious raw material for the small workshop of Vassilis Zerzis in Pella. The traditional workshop “Opos Palia” preserves the traditional aspect of a family business, creating flavours that are both timeless and contemporary. Such is the flavour of the sweet-smelling, plum and lemon verbena jam, with its luscious texture and rich taste, made of ripe plums, a little sugar, a touch of lemon juice and, naturally, lemon verbena.” It can be served for breakfast, on tarts and biscuits or deliciously accompany an assortment of savoury treats and wine.
One hundred (100) grams of jam are made out of at least eighty-five (85) grams of fruit.
